A yajamana is the patron on whose behalf a yajna is performed by the priests (ritvik) for the pleasure of the Lord Narasimha. By participating and offering their oblations in the yajna, the yajmana and his family members are spiritually nourished by receiving the blessings of Lord Narasimha and his devotees.
We invite you to become a yajmana for this most auspicious and grand offering of Maha Sudarshana Homam at ISKCON Medchal. For the preparation of the yajna we need the following ingredients. You may donate the same either in kind or by donating the amount to be used for the purpose.
Desi Cow Ghee for Homam – 60 kg
Rice – 5000 kg
Toor Dhal – 3000 kg
Oil – 300 liters
Suji – 500 kg
Wheat (atta) – 250 kg
Spices – different quantities
Vegetables – different quantities
Wood for cooking – 350 kg
